HIHI!~ Shalinn here!~ I'm currently at Lauren's house. And we're bored. But we're listening to the SBS Pop Asia radio thing that's on the internet! And there are no good songs on! ARGH! And we missed the SHINee song!
Meow~ Hello, Lauren here. We've been together for a while now.. It's currently about 4:20 pm. So we've been together for 24hrs and 20mins... But I'm honored to be Shalinn's first sleepover. :] We kept requesting a Japanese band that we like on the SBS Pop Asia channel, but they ignored us :[ It was slightly noobish.
We are going to try again next Sunday, we'll post a comment with the band name early! So we don't get ignored! I better go now~ Shalinn is eating and we've been updating a-lot lately. Because we were so excited about our sleepover! Well, see you all of our 'followers.'

ToraDora Anime Review.

So, here is the anime review that I've promised you guys and never really got around to doing it. So here it is:

So, basically, the storyline goes like this:

Taiga Aisaka bumps into Takasu Ryuji in one of the hall ways at school. Taiga is known as the "Palmtop Tiger" at school since she has this fiesty aggressive behaviour. While Takasu Ryuji is feared by all the student for his scary looking face, but on the inside he's a kind and caring guy that is REALLY good at cooking. (Man, I want him to cook for me!~)

So both of them start talking and Taiga finds out the Ryuji likes her best friend :Minori Kushieda. While Ryuji finds out that Taiga likes his friend: Yūsaku Kitamura. They agree to help each other get together with their crushes. Then this annoying bratty model pops up called : Ami Kawashima.

Ami soon finds out that she has feelings for Ryuji. But that doesn't matter. Also, I forgot to mention that Taiga is a pretty messy person and doesn't really eat proper meals. So Ryuji in the mean time cleans her house for her and cooks for her every morning, noon and night.

While Taiga is helping Ryuji get together with her friend, Minori, she finds out that she does have feelings for Ryuji. But she knows that Minori also kind of has feelings for Ryuji so she works harder to forget about Ryuji and just helps him. (This part is a spoiler!)On Christmas day, she asks Minori to meet up with Ryuji, Taiga goes home alone and waits for Santa to visit her, Santa doesn't come. She whispers to herself: "I'll be alone this year on Christmas day as well... " and with that she drifts off to sleep.

A few hours later she wakes up to a loud banging noise. It's coming from her bedroom. She arms herself and opes the window. There's a mascot there: A bear in a santa outfit. She pulls him in and they talk for a while. He twirls her around the room and somehow manages to knock his mascot head off. Turns out the mascot is Ryuji. But Taiga already expected it to be Ryuji. Taiga tells Ryuji to go meet with Minori since that was Taiga's christmas present for Ryuji. She pushes him out the door and tells him to go and accept her gift to him. He goes. Taiga realises that she's crying. She realised that if Ryuji meets up with Minori. They'll be together, and she realises that the one standing next to Ryuji from now on won't be her. Taiga doesn't want that. She runs out of the building to chase after him but he's already gone. She falls to her knees and stars crying... But you'll have to watch the anime to find out what happens afterwards. HEHE.

So this anime was REALLY GOOD! It's probably my favourite anime at the moment!

Now.. I rate this anime:8.7

It's A REALLY GOOD anime and it will bring you joy AND sadness so please I recommend that you watch this and enjoy!

Sleepover FAIL.

Hello~
I'ts lauren here and I'm still at Shalinn's house!! :] We were up till about 1am-ish... Facebook stalking and TRYING to find an anime to watch... But It was a complete fail soo,,. But this morning we were watching SBSPopAsia on TV.. and our arashi songs probably came up whilst we were eating breakfast. Shalinn died of sadness. ANDD,, for the last song they put up Step by KARA and (no offense) we HATE that song nearly as much as my brother. So yeeaah~ Here's Shalinn;

HIHI! It's Shalinn here! And I'm so upset because we didn't get to hear any ARASHI songs! I was so not dying of sadness! I was dying of chilli heat! I was eating this REALLY hot Korean noodles! And it was so spicy! But I conquered the NOODLE! Because I'm THAT awesome! But yes, I have to admit I did cry! I didn't mean to! It just flowed out! YAY LOLLIPOP!~ SUGAR! Lauren just fed me a lollipop so I'm going to be hyper for awhile!

Hehe, Yes, HYPER~~!!! Shalinn will probably be jumping off the walls or something later on.. I must brace myself, since her parents and her are coming to my house for lunch! :] I actually have NO idea what's for lunch but I'm expecting something decent. (I hope. Since my mum stinks at cooking anything other than stir fry.) Help! ;D

World God Only Knows S2

Okay so as I promised id do some reviews today. Well I'll be doing a review on "The World God Only Knows, Season2"
Much like my review of Season 1, "WGOK" Season 2 is similar. With new girls obtaining loose souls, new humor and storyline. Okay, So I really liked season 2.... !! Elsie is still the same, clueless girl and Keima is still the same, PFP obsessed boy.
BUT, yes, BUT, the girls are much different to the first season, one of the girls takes up 3 whole episodes to get the soul out of her. But there was actually a time when I watched a part twice. The last girl to conquer, is actually the most... interesting .
This anime is one of my personal favorites. And I would recommend it if you like;

or We Without Wings.

I'd recommend to watch the first season first. Of course.

Hey EVERYONE!
I deeply apologize for not publishing posts on as frequent as I would've liked to. And It's Shalinn here if you don't already know.
Also! I have given up on Ikuto so now it's just Lauren liking him and I have picked up a new favourite anime guy!
His name is Usui Takumi! He is REALLY COOL! And he looks REALLY good as well! So for all those people out there that are his fans! You are lucky because I'll probably post a Usui Tribute up!

And for the ToraDora Review I have completed it and published it on my blog: which you can access by clicking here. If you are too lazy to go to my website you are lucky because I'll soon post it on this website too. But you'll have to wait awhile before I do. Ohaio!!! ~ What's up everyone??
We have been UBER busy... Last week of school. I am in pure joy. BUT WE HAVE THE ... brace yourself.. CROSSCOUNTRY. Shoot. KILL ME NOW. (But If you did kill me I'd have many hours to watch anime and J-pops in heaven [or hell])
I just finished watching Gokusen (another MatsuJun drama. He's in so much~!) It was actually really good! :P I dunno if I'd do a review on it but. I'll thi k about it.. xD
Yamaguchi is so like two-sided. From a yakuza family wanting to be a teacher. At first I didnt really understand but as soon as MatsuJun gasps you understand.
(HIS BLONDE STREAK WAS SO HOT.) *.* I like his haircut.
"Every women wants MatsuJun.... To do their hair"
ROFL. I fell off my chair when I read this. ;P
Anyway. back to Gokusen:::
It was really funny, and there was also OGURI SHUN. As a bad ass kid. WITH BLONDE HAIR. I was like 'WHATTT?!?' Because I'm used to seeing him in Hana Kimi with black hair. It's like. 'Okay, sudden fashion change.'
But the only thing I think some J-Pops do well (Okay so HanaDan made me cry but it was HIKARU UTADA'S fault! Stupid background song they put when it's supposed to be sad. 'The flavor of life'



I cried. 4TIMES I MEAN SHIT.)
So yeah some dramas try to get that emotional time where some character says something and everyone is silent and then the character just starts to cry. It's like 'Thats not sad'.


Well my little(cough) rant is going on for too long. But I just added another hot character to my list of hot characters::

Supanova Perth 2011!!

hey!!!!
Guess what?!!??!!
I went to the SUPANOVA POP CULTURE EXPO!! on saturday,, AND sunday!
There were awesome costumes, anime, manga, and COSPLAY COMP!! ^0^ I was in heaven!! I bought Yui from K-ON plush (KYA) La Corda d'Oro manga... (:p) and some rulers and stickers with vocaloids!! Len, Rin, Miku <3 There were these randoms dressed as Storm Troopers.. and a Darth Vader, being the geek my dad is , he bought a light sound FX (quite awesome might I add) lightsaber for 100$! My absolute favorite part was in the cosplay, some guy came out dressed up as a guy from Halo, and a random just yells out "NOOB!" hahahha.! They had Tom Felton(Draco Malfoy, Harry Plopper) and the I Dream Of Jeannie cast, (Barbara Eden, Bill Daily and Larry Hagman.) and some NOOB from Buffy called "James Marsters" Dad insisted we get a picture with Larry Hagman, as he was Tony Nelson in Jeannie and J.R Ewing(ARRFGHHH) from Dallas. well my little rant is over.. Today Shalinn [Anime Buddie and awesome person ;)] introduced me to Japanese Drama's.
She came over and showed me the first 20 minutes or so of a drama called Hana Yori Dango. It was actually really good, and even though I don't rave about it much I really like it *blush*.
Mainly because it has two hot guys o_o... [Pssstt Shalinn Psst..]
But it is awesome none the less.......... So yeah,,, I better be going NOW. Or later. BUT NOW.

Yeah.. I had an AWESOME lunch. And after that I went to the optometrist to check my eyes and make new glasses!~ (I picked some pretty awesome glasses!~) Then we went into an Asian shop!~~
 Where they sold guess what?! Here was what I saw!:

 I so wanted to get some but it was WAY TOO expensive.. and I'm kinda broke...
So anyway... That's not the point! They reminded me of IKUTO!~ If only they were blue!~

Fruits Basket ( But I still love my Iky..)

I'm back with a REVIEW!!!! Woop!
Sorry, it took me FOREVER to get on and post this.
Here it is;;; xxx

Fruits Basket, the popular English turned manga series, also available as an anime. I have a vast knowledge of Fruits, as I have spent a few hours watching special features and watched the anime 4times English dubbed and 6 times Japanese with subs..
"It's time to pay the piper rat boy, I'm here to collect"
The manga is so much better (obviously as it has 23 awesome books).. Id recommend vol. 15. SO FUNNY!!
Anyways, to the point.
The main character is Tohru Honda, a Girl who's mother and father have both passed away. She decided to go live with her beternal grandpa, and works to not be a burden. But when his house is getting renovations, she pretends to have somewhere to stay whilst they are going on. The Sohmas eventually encounter her and ask her to stay at their house. (For all the Fb maniacs, I didn't mean the main house, I meant shigures house!!)
As Tohru tries to break the sohmas free from the curse.
KyoxTohru FTW!!!

I recommend this, as it. Was my one true live<3 My first raving point.. KYA!!!

Shugo Chara Review

Today, I’ll be doing a review on the anime: Shugo Chara. I have to say that this anime did bring me heaps of pleasure! And it also made me VERY VERY aggravated. Because of the stupid character in it called Tadase or if I may call him: Tadagay. He is so ANNOYING! He’s even worse than Yuki in Fruits Basket or Mytho in Princess Tutu. Because he just kept popping up every time Amu and Ikuto were getting close. Anyway, Ikuto is SOO AWESOM E! So, in this anime, he is a 17 year old high schooler. And his “chara” is called Yoru and he is so adorable! So, apparently, he character changes into a cat-like figure. Kinda like Kyo, but he is NOT a cat... or is he? Anyway.... And the main character is a girl.... called Amu. She is supposedly, one of those cool, secretive girls... And people around her call her : “Cool and Spicy”. But honestly, she wants to be like the other girls but since she’s a big sister, she has to put on this kind of act...

And the story goes on and on...

Now, may I just say.... Ikuto is like the AWESOMESS!? And he just make you feel like going: ~KYAAA!~

On the other hand Tadase, is an ULTIMATE GAYLORD! YAY! CONGRATULATIONS! He takes gay to a WHOLE different level!

And Yoru just takes you to a WHOLE different level of CUTENESS!~

In this anime, the characters defeat X eggs and such…

I strongly recommend that you watch this anime, as it has brought me GREAT pleasure.

I would rate this anime: 9.3

Review-The World God Only Knows~S1.

Hello everyone!!
Yes, it's me Lauren, and I am back with a review!
For all those who have been waiting (and those who haven't) I will be reviewing an anime that is not very well known, but it is an anime none the less!
The World God Only Knows is about a boy named Keima, who is an ace at dating sims on his 'PFP'.
Keima stumbles upon a girl named Elsie(actually she was looking for him so..). She was sent from hell to look for 'The Divine One' a.k.a Keima. She tells him that she was sent to find him, as he would help her capture loose souls. Loose souls being souls that hide in people's body's who have a problem or don't think they are able to achieve something.
He is forced to help her, as she plants a purple collar on his neck, so if he doesn't help her, he'll die and so will she. (Yeah, that's a great way to solve anxiety Eh. ) Keima has to always 'outdo' himself to win the heart of 4 girls...
So so forth unfolds the funny, witty ,random story of Keima and Elsie.


I thought that this series of 13 episodes, was actually pretty good. I didnt expect the humor that would come out of the fact that Keima was only used to dating sim games, and had no sense with REAL girls, but as the series progresses, capturing looses souls gets harder, so he has to put his game up a bit. Even though Elsie is a little ditsy, and is no conparison to a devil or anything evil whatsoever, she still comes across as a flying girl o_o But I shall now stop blabbing and give you my rating.

6.75/10. :)
